The apartments Vacanze Jesolo Ongaro are the ideal starting point to reach Venice, for tours and excursions in the historical city on the water.
Venice is easily reached from Jesolo by ferries departing from Punta Sabbioni.
The shortest journey is "Jesolo - Punta Sabbioni" (15 km), from there you can take the ferry that takes you directly to San Marco Square in Venice.
To reach Punta Sabbioni there are several ways:
by car crossing Jesolo, direction to Cavallino-Treporti, until you reach Punta Sabbioni.
- if you leave from Villa Ongaro and Villa Mimi, you have to take the bus ATVC from Levantina Street to the station and from there take the bus to Punta Sabbioni, leaving every 30 minutes.
- if you leave from Villa Fiore, you have to take the bus ATVO from a bus stop in Aquileia Street to Punta Sabbioni, available every 30 minutes, and you will have an excellent access to Venice by boat.
Unique on the world for its urban development, Venice hits with its rhythms and colours, that from San Marco Square and from the Ducale Palace, widen throughout the city centre. An architecture different from that one of any other city, founded on particular needs and historical situations. All this have created a special urban space, in which water has the main role. Venice is built on 118 islands, separated by 117 canals and connected by 480 bridges. Venice is divided into six “Sestrieri”.
We recommend also to visit on another day the islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello, leaving from Treporti.
